Webinar | Net Zero Artificialization: issues, impacts, levers of action

Soil artificialization is identified as the major cause of the reduction in natural, agricultural and forest areas and therefore actively participates in the dynamics of collapse of biodiversity. To deal with this situation, the French government has since introduced the 2018 biodiversity plan, then the “Climate and Resilience” law of August 22, 2021, the objective of “Zero Net Artificialization” or (ZAN) to preserve soil resources .

Circular no. 6323-SG of January 7, 2022 specifies that:

“Zero Net Artificialization” is a medium-term objective to be achieved, in 2050. It must result in a progressive reduction of artificialized surfaces, which is part of the trend reduction in land consumption observed on a national scale over the last decade”

To understand and better understand the objective of ZAN (Zero Net Artificialization), UrbanThink invites you to attend an information Round Table for :

  • Clarifying the issues of the ZAN objective
  • Identify the levers of action to achieve the ZAN objectives by 2050
  • Deciphering the support measures put in place by the State
