Webinar | Objectif ZAN : Urban decarbonization through land recycling

11 a.m. to 12 p.m. July 4, Juliette MAITRE, Project Manager at Cerema and Émilie Sampson director of development at NHOOD, worked alongside Gwenaelle CARFANTAN, CEO d’UrbanThink Platform, in a webinar to talk about the ZAN -Zero Artificialisation Nette – objective.

Although 80% of the city is already built-up, there are positive opportunities to promote the ecological transition of these areas.

One of these opportunities lies in land recycling. We will share CEREMA’s analysis of some of the projects submitted under the FRICHE Fund that have benefited from financial support to meet housing needs. These measures limit the spatial expansion of cities, promote the renaturation and re-vegetation of urban areas and improve the decarbonization roadmap of territories.

We will illustrate these concepts through two examples of land recycling. The first on religious land and the second on commercial land, demonstrating how a judicious transformation of the uses of existing infrastructures can contribute to the goal of zero net artificialisation.

Join us in this webinar to understand how the ZAN objective through land recycling can play a key role in the transformation of cities and territories.

During this webinar, you will have the opportunity to see how the ThinkCities® application contributes to the decision-making process to achieve the ZAN objective.
